What, if anything, can we know for sure?
Is there anything extant that is absolutely certain – as regards its actuality – apart from human awareness of it?
Here on Apocalypse Field, Global Arena of Consciousness, anything is fair game for questioning and refutation – seeing as there is so much madness, evil, and nonsense about.
I will not argue for the existence of God, nor for the devil. We cannot know such things unless they are revealed to us. And as for “madness”, what then is sanity? And if there is evil, what then is good? And nonsense, what then is sense – or rational truth? By what standard can you affirm anything, apart from merely wishful thinking?
We – all of us – must have some epistemic foundation or ground to stand on as conscious speaking beings.
Are you just a skin-bag of bones, water, and electric fizz foaming out ephemeral nothings? Hoping against real hope in a meaningless universe? Making the futile best of a cosmic accident?
I know – deeper than feeling, deeper than thinking – I am a child of the real God, and am solid in my being in Him. I live – am immersed – in His word and presence, real things. I see what He has revealed, as regards both the past, present, and future, and He has revealed much. I can see through His revealed seeing.
I understand there are those fellow humans – for some of whom I have great respect – who, nonetheless, are not epistemically grounded, yet have keen insight into the world around them. I can even learn significant things from them.
This is one of the great values of being here on substack. There are good writers and seers of sorts here.
Maybe we can learn from each other. Things are not well in the world around us. There is life and sanity and true good in this world slowly turning dystopian (the title of an upcoming post of mine) – a coming dystopia, a prophesied dystopia – and we need the inward resources of wisdom and vitality to endure the Iron Fist that increasingly shall be made known, and even now is being shaken in our faces.
