An eschatology of a great and terrible love.
Eschatology is the study of the end times. A lot of nonsense going around as regards that.
The movies are full of nonsense – although action-packed with high-tech wizardry of the unreal for deception, or, if you prefer, fantasy – as in fights that are not true, but staged – or monsters that are computer-generated. We know it, yet “entertainment” with staged fakery we think better than boredom. The littleness of our lives requires excitement, the littleness requires big adventure, even if unreal. The entertainment industry is vital in upholding our waning lives.
The real “things to come” have been so plastered over with religion and traditions we pay them no mind, not worthy of our attention. Or erring Christian schemas that perplex even the wise.
But are there real monsters? We intuit there are, but don’t have the imagination to flesh them out in our minds. We intuit there is real and profound evil – it haunts our dreams and fears – but we can’t give it form.
There are many, not SEERS, but SEIRS, as in Spirit-Enhanced Intelligence, in media and the entertainment industry. SEIRS? You ever get high? Smoke weed or take cid or shrooms, or the like (there’s a lot of “get-high” stuff around these days).
Older discerning generations called it sorcery – those agents that enable entrance into the spirit realm and give access to their presence and influence – and very many are those who partake of that stuff, especially in the worlds of the arts and entertainment. Such allows souls to partake of SEI – spirit-enhanced intelligence.
At any rate, there ARE real monsters, but they prefer to conceal their identity, and their very reality. Even so, they are able to influence our minds and thinking.
Reality. Quite a word. What is that? Can there really be a God? And a devil? How can we know? Let me ask you to intuit rather than “intellectually know” as we get into this realm of thought.
There is an ancient story, known world-wide, of a Deity, sending a mighty One into the ruined world to rescue and save those who believed in and loved Him. A powerful spirit – called Lucifer – is also spoken of. He is sometimes thought of as a slick salesman, but in truth he is the apex of monstrosity, wicked and great beyond our ken, yet inferior to the sent One who opposes him.
The stakes? What we love here will cleave to us when we leave our bodies. That’s what the conflict between good and evil is all about: our undying souls. There is a hatred in a species of spirits toward humankind, and they would have us be with them in their upcoming destruction as the undying damned.
And there is a great and terrible love for us in the Deity and His mighty One. Great and terrible because what He endured to rescue us is beyond our fathoming, and the cosmic cataclysm that shall reveal all these things is at the doorstep, the growing darkness that shall be lit with a light so bright . . . . . as to fill some with joy, and others with terror and anguish.
There is a Story going on it would pay well to know of. How much is your eternity worth?
